宣化镇朔楼

宣化镇朔楼，又名鼓楼，建于明正统五年（1440年），因宣府总兵佩“镇朔将军印”而得名。北面二层屋檐下，悬挂有清高宗乾隆皇帝御笔“神京屏翰”巨匾。国家级重点文物保护单位。 The Zhenshuo Tower,also called Drum Tower,was built in 1440,the fifth year during the reign of Emperor Zhengtong of the Ming Dynasty.Its name came from the General Zhenshuo Seal of the garrison commander of Xuanhua.A huge plaque with the inscriptions of "Defense for Safeguarding Capital" written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty was hung on the tower's second story. The tower is now under the state special protection.
